As an artist, the necessity to 'feed' this blog daily was becoming too distracting and taking me away from what I really need to do; building a portfolio consisting of a substantial body of work. After much contemplating, I made the decision to end the photo blog as well as Flckr and concentrate on creating art. The task of posting a daily photo has caused me to cut corners and sacrafice quality for quantity. I would rather come up with 10 masterpieces a year then 365 mediocre snapshots. So there you have it. For anyone interested, I have created a portfolio website at www.jonkobeck.com that will show only my very best work.
